Chapter 3

In the morning after he woke up at 8:45am and had a shower and went downtown to the core of Banff and visited the stores and boutiques but they were all closed, they dont open untill 10:30 am and so he feels its only logical place to head to would be to head to the internet cafe and then he noticed it didnt open untill 9:30 he had a whole half hour to wait for the internet cafe to open.

Not alot of restaurants or stores are open so he walks back to his hotel room to watch some TV untill 11 or so and happens to find a channel that is showing red bull air races. James loves aviation quite a bit and finds himself flying virtually with the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Whenever James can find aviation on TV he watches it no matter what it is about and wishes the hotel TV had the wings channel that was created by the discovery channel.

Meanwhile it has become 9:45 and he waits till the show is over and heads down to the internet cafe, he wants so much to stay out of the internet cafe and do nature walks and bike rides but nothing is open yet and it’s too early to go on a hike. He settles himself on the furthest computer from the entrance and logs into his account. Checks his email first off and then his facebook and my.yahoo.com After this he walks over and grabs a coffee to keep him warm because it is a little cold in the internet cafe.

After a while of updating his friends on facebook and everything he checks if his account still has hours on it and if he owes anything before heading upstairs to the main street of Banff. He notices that there are way more people in the street than there was when he got to the internet cafe.

James goes back to his hotel and gets his car out of the garage and decides to drive to Radium, BC. His mustang roars to a start and he’s off on a road trip and this mustang is quite an interesting version. Instead of feeding the CD player cd's and for a few seconds taking your eyes off the road, no this one has a hard drive in it and it plays iTunes now renamed CarTunes. Al you have to do is connect the USB cable from the laptop computer to a hideable USB port on under the volume knob in the stereo area of the dash. Getting songs from your desktop computer is the next version in which they are researching at the moment.

Anyways he puts CarTunes on shuffle and merges onto the Trans Canada highway to the west toward radium. His CarTunes consists of alot of U2, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Bright Eyes and band that is hardly known unless you have seen his youtube channel, called Blue Skies and has alot of covers and originals. And he also has his own music.

After 30mins he gets to the intersecting highway that takes him to radium and merges onto that highway and within another hour arrives in Radium set to go to the hot springs and see the sights.

He arrives at the parking lot for the pools in Radium and gets out takes his backpack with him and heads for the pools. It is now 11:45 am. Kind of a weird time to visit a hot pool but he’s got so much to see (invermere and maybe a trip to interior of BC) why not?

He goes into the building pays his 5 bucks and heads off to the change rooms to change into his swimming trunks. 5 minutes later he emerges from the change area and has a quick shower and heads out to the pool. The pool isn’t very busy and there are only 5 other people in the pool with him. It’s hot outside and it’s hot in the pool.

After what seemed like half an hour of wading in the pool he got out and went back took a quick shower and went back and changed into his regular clothes and headed back to his car. A few minutes later he got back on the highway heading for Invermere that is just down the road from where he is and he hopes to lie on the beach and read his Harry Potter book.

While having the CarTunes on shuffle it came upon a few Bright Eyes songs every other song. This was a good part of the trip, anything your doing while listening to Bright Eyes is a good thing to do. He arrives in Invermere about half an hour later and the time is roughly 12:55pm and its very hot and a bad time to be outside at this time of day and he puts on his sunscreen in the car and waits twenty minutes and reads a bit more of Harry potter book before going to the beach with his towel in hand ready for maybe a bit of a swim.

He’s lying on the towel at the beach and reading more of his book. He seems to be really into his book when an old friend come walking by. This is his friend John from high school who he knew quite well and hasn’t seen in like 10 years and is wondering what he’s doing here, not like he’s not supposed to be here enjoying himself but he just never thought he would never see someone from his past out here.

James and his friend lay next to each other and talk about what’s been happening since high school and after all is said and done john asks where James is heading to and he says "im heading home after this" and then john says "that’s cool, hey have you been to the white swan hot springs?”.” No, what’s so big about that?” James says to John. John replies with stating "The fact that it is the best unknown hot pools in BC, i say unknown because not everyone knows about it, it’s on this old logging road about half an hour or so from here!"

After getting instructions from john he thinks he best be off onto this hot pool place. He gets back into his car and drives an hour or so to the entrance to the white swan provincial park and drives up the old logging road till he gets to a small parking lot and parks the car, with his swimming trunks still on. Gets out and walks down the boardwalk to a set of 3 pools. He gets into the top pool and notices it’s very hot, stifling hot. So he goes to the smaller pool and notices it’s quite cooler than the top pool.

After a few minutes in the bottom pool he slowly makes it to the top pool and i guess that’s the way it’s supposed to be. He then meets some new folk sitting in the top pool and they tell im that it’s not a big deal but you are supposed to dip your body in the cold river then get out because as James finds out it has to be in the 30 to 40 degree range because it’s very cold as in very cold. B-r-r.

After 20 minutes of hanging out at the hot tub he goes back to his car gets dried off and gets in the car. He looks at the map and notices that Kelowna is only 4 hours from here and so he decides to head for it. He starts the car and heads back down the logging road and finds himself back on the highway and heads towards Kelowna. He turn’s on the CarTunes and listens to some Coldplay and some U2.

It will be nearly 4 hours of straight sailing to Kelowna. They have a nice beach there and a nice little airport that he has virtually flown to many times. The highway is busy. Its almost 2pm by the time he gets there it will be about 7:30 and so he thinks to himself maybe kelowna is too far and turns around and heads back to town. 2 Hours later he gets to Banff and goes back to the hotel and lays down and thinks of the good time he had today.

Later that night he packs up and gets ready for the flight back home. He can’t wait. He has such a fun time out in the town that he’s been in for the past week and a half. He wishes that he could keep the car but the car goes back tomorrow at the airport. He has a flight at 7:45 am back to London on Westjet. He watches some TV and falls to sleep.

In the morning he wakes up at 4:50am after getting a wake-up call to give him enough time to get to the airport. He gets in his Mustang and heads towards Calgary. He stops in Canmore for a few minutes at the Tim Hortons and gets himself a coffee and a doughnut and heads back onto the busy highway.

After an hour and a half it is now 6:30am and he’s approaching the Calgary airport and heads for the Parking area for returning a rental car. He cleans out the car quickly then lends the guy working the keys and asks quickly if there are any of these cars being sold and the guy says in the next few weeks they are going to be released to all ford dealerships. James now looks pleased, maybe he can own one.

He gets a cart and puts all of his bags on it and quickly gets to the Westjet kiosk and tells them his name and the email agenda paper he has that has the number the agent enters into the computer. “James Katchen we have your ticket here” as he prints out the boarding pass and hands it to James. He then loads all the bags he has and takes his backpack on board with him and heads to gate D40. He walks through the airport entrance and enters security and takes off his bag, takes out his wallet and all the stuff in his pockets and walks through and it doesn’t beep so he waits for his stuff to be checked and then puts it all back in his wallet, grabs the backpack and heads for the gate. He arrives a short few minutes later and notices there a few people waiting to board he goes to the clerk and shows him his boarding ticket and his license. The clerk says “you may board now if you wish!” and James thanks the man and boards the plane. He notices the plane he is flying on is the 737-200, he thought that Westjet had retired them but they had brought them back for a few flights as they had a few 700’s that were being worked on and they needed a loaner plane to fill in.

The plane slowly did its pushback and get ready to start its engines and ready for normal flight from Calgary to London. After a few minutes of being towed the engines started up and the plane was ready for taxiing. A few moments later they were taking off and flying towards London Ontario.

After takeoff the plane quickly climbed to 10,000 feet and was half way to his cruise altitude of 20,000 feet. James was watching out the window looking at the mountains in the background before the plane made a left turn to head towards Ontario instead of more westerly areas. Once the plane reached the cruise altitude he heard the captain speak “good morning this is your captain Darren Elliott speaking, welcome to our special Calgary to London filler flight! Because of a few extra fleet planes being taken into the hanger they lent us this plane to fly untill they are fixed! Thank you and enjoy your flight!”

During the flight James ordered a few cokes and a package of licorice while the plane flew them towards London. 4.5hrs later they landed in London during a small rainstorm. They parked the plane at the gate and opened the doors and as soon as they did everyone got their stuff and headed for the gate and towards the luggage carousel.

James found the rest of his luggage and headed for the door and out to the parking lot. He got there and put all of his stuff in his car and paid for his parking for the week and headed home. Within the hour he was home and back by himself again ready to get back to work the next day. He picked up his cell phone and called his work and said im home I had a good trip and im ready to get back to work now and the manager said take a day or two off and come in when you’re ready.

He took 2 days off to get back to work and reset all his clocks and get ready for work. During the two days he spent all day flying virtually and driving virtually and he did manage to get some time to relax and read a book. The next day was his first day back after taking a flight to the west. His manager greeted him at the door and asked him how his vacation was and James said it was wonderful. After spending a few minutes explaining the kinds of things he did there in Banff and the things he didn’t get to do he got straight to work.

The next few weeks were as usual, there wasn’t a lot of traffic in the store. But he kept busy by thinking of his trip to Banff that was fresh in his mind. He loved climbing the hills and taking walks at night. During one of the nights he was sleeping at home a dream came to him that he didn’t understand. It seems he couldn’t stop thinking about the plane he flew back home on. It was a Boeing 737-200. In the dream he was flying the plane so perfectly he wondered if anyone was watching him. He awoke suddenly after what seemed to be an alright dream to be woken up by the sound of a doorbell. “3:45 am?” he said to himself, “Who would want to talk to me outside my door this early in the morning?” he mentioned to himself. He opened the door to see a total stranger at his door. “Hello?!” James muttered to himself. “Who is this?” he said to the stranger.

“I am someone you don’t know but I met you in Banff one night” she says. “Um im sorry I didn’t meet anyone out of the internet café or climbing mountains, you’re face looks unfamiliar to me” James replied but didn’t know how he knew this girl who was standing at his doorstep. “Don’t you remember being out at Bruno’s one night?” she said trying to get him to rember the night she met him.

“I didn’t go to Bruno’s at all during my trip, or wait yes I did but it was during the day, not at night” James said back to the total stranger who was looking offended he didn’t remember her. The conversation went on for a few more minutes before James said “im sorry its 4 am now I don’t recognize you from Banff or anywhere I went, I have to work in 2 hours....sorry but can you leave now?” James said back to the stranger hanging outside his door. He decided to stay up and check his email and have a coffee before work.

Later that morning he was ready for work and got to his place of work 1 minutes early, told his boss about what happened this morning and got himself ready to start work again. His day was spent with thoughts of who that girl was or who she was not. “I do not remember going into Bruno’s at night at all on my trip” he thought to himself.

The day ended and James went home, back to being alone again. He was quite sure he only visited Bruno’s in the day time, when James got another knock on the door. It was the same girl from last time, the unknown girl that somehow entered James’s life very recently, like last night perhaps?. This time around she said she worked at UNLTD and that James had walked into the bike/snowboard/skate shop and again James was confounded. “I did not go into Bruno’s or into what you say is unltd store, I do not know you now leave me alone” to which the young girl replied “I know you more than you know me”.

James was now mad, he had now claimed a stalker to his list of unknown friends and added what she looked like and put her out of his mind...”so now wherever I go im going to be followed, like I need this” he said to himself just before bed.

The next day he was surprised to not have to wake up so early to fend off some unknown people so he slept in till just before his wake up time of 5:45am. He didn’t have to worry about the girl stalker at all that day and the rest of that week untill the Saturday that was coming up. The girl arrived on his doorstep in the afternoon of the Saturday. “Why hello again stalker, what else have you got of me visiting that id didn’t go to?” he wailed at her like he was totally mad. “Listen to me sir, Im having a hard time remembering where I met you but I know it was at a bar or something during the night, maybe it was a café not a bar and stop calling me a stalker” she said.

The weeks that went on were quite strange, not sure what to make of the mysterious girl he keeps going to work. Things were going much better at work and no mysterious girl had even shown up there either. He was very pleased with this. He didn’t have to fight with someone he didn’t know at all. He found this to be a benefit to himself.

Chapter 2

The next day James awoke at noon and decided not to go to the internet cafe and went for a drive in his mustang headed for Johnson Canyon. Moments later he entered the 1A highway and drove on it for at least 45 minutes untill he saw a sign telling drivers that Johnston canyon was a few miles up ahead and he pulled in to the parking lot and got out of the car. He had packed a backpack full of sweets, not fruit and vegetables.

James had been to this place before but not in the summer. He started walking up the trail and began to take out his sweets, being a small package of skittles. He kept walking and passed a few onlookers pointing to interesting things in the distance. Seems there were a few bears that had come to this area not long before James had gotten to the west. James walked over to the railing and took out his digital camera and before he took a photo a thought crossed his head. These bears get pictures taken all the time of them and so James thought it would be best if he didnt take pictures of the bears and just watched them walk away because of all of the commotion of the people talking and watching.

He climbed up the canyon to continue his trek upwards. A half hour later he reached the top of the canyon and noticed the wall of rock ahead of him was full of rock climbers. James watched this closely to see if anyone was going to fall so if it happened he could call the local authorities for help and then decided it would be better if he walked down to the bottom of the canyon.

At least 45 minutes later he emerged from canyon to notice that there was an ambulance parked in the parking lot. I guess someone wasn’t hooked into their equipment quite good enough and fell and landed on hard rock. James didnt seem to see the paramedics on his way down but then again he made so many stops to eat all his sweets they must have ran up when he wasn’t looking

James got back into his car and drove off towards Banff. About 30-45 minutes later he emerged onto the Trans Canada highway and a few minutes later he was back into Banff. It was about four fifty five in the afternoon. He decided to go to the internet cafe and check his email account and face book.

He went straight from the hike to the internet cafe and logged in but forgot the last time to put any money on his account. He went over and talked to the staff member and within minutes he was online. Nothing in his email but junk but got an email from his work telling him to call them when he was ready to work again. On his face book no one had emailed him all week.

After a few hours playing games he wandered back to the hotel room. He was about ready to go to sleep. He wasn’t a pajama person a preferred to sleep in what he was wearing minus the pants and sweater he was wearing today. He was in the middle of reading the 4th Harry potter book. He read till the end of the chapter and then fell asleep.

Chapter 1 in the book im trying to write

Late one night in a hot muggy summer in rural Ontario a man named James Katchen in his late twenties was sitting in his bedroom in his house where he lived all alone and he was on his computer playing an old computer game called midtown madness. While cruising around in the city of Chicago he got to thinking his life was this bad that he had to be playing that game?

A few hours later he emerged in the kitchen looking for something to eat, something to much on and found a bag of chips and opened them and walked back to his bedroom where earlier he was playing an old computer game. At this time he was starting up another old game called Motocross Mania. He decided to do a race against the clock. The time was eleven fifty pm and it was really time for bed but he didnt mind it because he had a few days off and this was time to play.

He exited the game and logged into his email account and checked them. There was nothing but junk, James didnt believe in spam because it’s a waste of time and wished that spammers didnt need to exist. He also logged on to MSN messenger and there were only a few people on tonight. His mother and father were on and he talked back and forth then realized he really wanted to talk to his mother and father and hear their voice so he ended the conversation on the messenger program and picked up his phone and dialed their number into his phone and moments later he heard their voices and began the conversation. He updated them on the goings on in his life and 2 hours later hung up the phone.

James Katchen worked at a general store in a rural town in Ontario. He did bagging groceries and the like. He was very helpful and came in to work on time and ready for work. He worked 5 days a week and had Saturday and Sunday off. He loved this job and thought he was going to be at this job for a long time.

He had been working hard at his job the coming weeks and he had been wondering for a while if he could have been let off for a week to go on a trip to a place he has been to many times before in Alberta called Banff. He asked the manager and said 'id like to go on a short trip to Banff Alberta if i could?’ The manager replied with 'sure go ahead youve been working so hard go ahead'.

A few weeks later he was off to Banff and flew by an airline called Westjet. James was very fond of Westjet and preferred it over other Canadian airlines. He’s a member of a virtual airline that bears the same name of the airline he likes. While playing the ever popular Flight Sim 2004 he usually flies a few virtual flights to either Winnipeg or Calgary.

James landed in Calgary and called the hotel he was going to be staying at to make sure his confirmation was still active and the room was still available and then got his luggage and immediately afterward looked for a rental car because if he wanted to go somewhere else while in Banff he might need one. He got a new ford mustang and headed for Banff. He had never driven in Calgary by himself so he went to a nearby gas station and asked how to get to the Trans Canada highway. The local gas station owner gave him the directions to the highways and within 45 minutes he was on the highway and on the way to Banff.

Nearly and hour and a half later he arrived in Banff and found the hotel very vacant, he really didnt need to call because there was no-one at the hotel, but the hotel manager and his staff was there and it looked to James as if they were wondering where everyone was. He talked to the hotel attendant and said 'i called about an hour ago, my name is Ja-- but before he could say his name the staff member had his info up on his computer screen and said 'room 201' and handed James the key and James went up to his room and unpacked. He explored his room and walked outside. It was mid august and hot but not muggy hot. He also brought all his games with him.

Later that night he moseyed on to the downtown and passed by a place called underground internet cafe. It was five after nine and just in time to go and do some emailing and face book and the like manly because he wasn’t a business person and didnt have anything that required getting done. While down at the internet cafe he said hi to two friends named Daniel and Phil. They had just finished touring the Europe countryside.

He walked to an open computer and used the pay option instead of a member login because he didnt have an account here. He waved to the guy at the counter who he knew and the computer in front of him lit up and he could use it as along as he wanted and as long as the cafe was open. It closes at 1am a sign right next to his keyboard read. He checked his email and face book and all the websites he usually visits back home and then while starting to get bored he gets up and walks up and gets a diet coke and tells the staff member that hell pay for it afterwards.

He notices on the desktop that the game world of war craft was still installed and decided to log in to his account he couldn’t use because his computer wouldn’t allow the size of the game. So then he logged in to his account and started playing with his dwarf on level 21 and spent most of the night playing this game.

The next day he skipped breakfast and instead of going to the cafe he decided to climb tunnel mountain and it took him most of about an hour to get to the top at which time he noticed the clouds above looked like it was about to rain, before he even get to look at the beautiful view. He took one look at the streets before starting to walk down the mountain and he got soaked walking down the mountain at which he thought he’d go back to the hotel and dry off and chill out.

Later that day he went for a walk downtown to a bar he had been to before called Bruno’s. He went and asked the waiter for a diet coke and a menu. The waiter hands him a diet coke and a menu and James then looks at the menu. A minute later he mentions he wants chicken fingers. He waits a few minutes and then his order arrives full of fries and about 4 chicken fingers. He eats his meal while watching soccer on TV. Arsenal vs. Manchester United are playing and Manchester is down 10 points from arsenal. A few moments later he pays for his meal and leaves, saying goodbye to the staff he knows.

Again tonight he’s drawn to the internet cafe. This time he asks the staff member how much an account here means and asks if he can have one just for a few days and the staff member says 'yes, that’s alright' and gives him a small paper to fill in. Moments later the info gets transferred and he loads some money onto the account and goes to computer seventeen and logs in. He finds a few games he had forgotten about called track mania and combat arms. He hasn’t played these games in a year or so. He would have but the internet is slow at home and doesn’t really work that much with the games he is looking at on the desktop.

He decides to play combat arms. It’s a game that is about war battles fought more in buildings than in fields. He logs in and loads up a game and starts playing it for a few minutes than thinks about what emails has he gotten. He doesn’t get many emails but there are few ones from his mom and dad and some friends usually so he exits the game and logs into his email account to find more junk. Nothing in here today.

2009: a year in review

these are the big things that happened this year

January-celebrated new years eve at cobble, tube slide was opened for the first time.

-started helping teaching at cobble

March-Got an award to the best assistant ski teacher of 2009 for all my help

April- around my dads b-day we went to montreal for my dads buisness conference. Mom leaves for australia for 3 weeks

May-I start rolling the grass to get it ready for cutting

June-August..cutting grass regularily

August- signed up to help with the kitchener airshow and dad helped as well

September-voluntered with the open house and doors open with the Jet Aircraft Museum

-Started college courses, with the goal of finally graduating college.

September-December-College courses

December- i actually pass both classes with the help of my sister...

aw jeez...

You all my laugh at me at what i am kinda in love with...dont worry people its not another girl i can go harrass but an airplane. I know what youre thinking, people can be in love with a plane can they? well most people would say no. I say yes.

I am really in love with an airplane and i know this time at least ill know that it loves me...haha....

im having alot of dreams about it...some have me as it pilot

a round the world next year...without leaving home

For next year starting in a few weeks ill be on my way to starting a round the world trip. But i wont be laving my bedroom. This is a virtual trip. I plan to fly from London CYXU to London CYXU but go around the world in between.

The plan is this

CYXU-->CYYC
CYYC-->PANC
PANC-->UHSS
UHSS-->OMDB (maybe?)
OMDB-->EIDW
EIDW-->KEWR
KEWR-->CYXU

but i might add a few routes as time goes...

school is almost over...

As it is now, there is only 1 day left of actual class time. I have the last test tommorow at noon. After im done that test i can technically be free of school but thats not it. I have another class at 4pm in which we talk about the move we say the night before but since ive already watched it many times i dont need to really know about the plot of fargo...but im going to go figure out the ideological subtext so that it can help me on the exam next wednesday...

I am also going to be meeting up with a buddy of mine whos in my class and asking about the missing stuff on the in class sheets in between after my test and my 4pm class and if we dont get it doen i will be screwed, these sheets are going to be used on the test so i have to get them finished....

merry xmas and ill update you next week...i need to focus...

now that the last essay is out of the way...

i have a little more time to fly this afternoon after a well needed nap from an all nighter that i did to finish this essay..

there are no more essays due in this class or the AB studies, and im not talking about studies of your six pack but of aborigional studies i did the only essay they required me to do. All that needs to be done are is the last test for AB studies and the exam. Once im done i can start flying alot more....

that only took a few minutes..

ive decided im not going to create a flightsim blog im going to post them here since this is where i usually talking anyways...

i have been really getting bothered by the way the 737-200 alternate painjobs were showing up in flightsim as 737-253 as its own set on the list when we know that the 737-253 is just a variation of the 737-200. So i decided that i would try to fix this. All i had to do was fix a few numbers in the aircraft.cfg file and i was on my way. Now instead of 6 different variations taking up space in the list of all aircraft they are all within the 737-200 set was like magic...only took me like 5 minutes...

I spent most of last night trying to finish my essay and by 3 am i was in bed with it already posted it to the dropbox on fanshaweonline and turnitin.com so thats a releief as my essay is done i dont have anymore test stuff to do like i usually do on friday saturday or sunday (ie adding image and text descriptions of my own notes on each chapter) so i can have more time to do flightsim, yeehaw!! i havent had any time to do it lately...

and also a time to record some songs and or make a new podcast or something..should be a good relax weekend...its been a while since ive been able to do that...

saw elevation last friday with my sister and my mom was a really good show but it was in a cathedral and part of it was like a mass sort of thing. Got some photos but it was too dark so they didnt come out.

other than that everything is fine..

need to get back to flightsim for a while

ive spent too much time working on this stuff for class this week i need an early afternoon touch and go or something like that.

my class has been cancelled again i havent seen him since last thursday...not sure when the essay is due anymore...

after writing a good test

sorry for the missing updates guys but I'm back still alive and awake. I just wrote a test yesterday and i really studied and i hope i did well on it. Ill have to check on that.

I’m doing a lot of virtual flying these days, well more like today. I got 3 flights in today. One was to Saskatoon from London And then i did a CYYZ-CYXU type of flight back and forth with the A380.  Then i did a flight to CYFB from CYYZ. Then i did a flight from London to Tillsonburg and then i switched to the 732 and flew to CYYZ.

i finally have all 4 wisdom teeth out and once again have my teeth are frozen. I can barely talk at all so im updating you on that.

i hate having my teeth frozen, its one of the weirdest feelings in the world. Im hoping it goes away soon.

Im always close to CYXU. Which means if JAM needs me to move things around or anything im usually driving round the area where JAM is. I met a guy whos just joined in the last few months who flies out of Discovery Air which is on Huron St where it extends past XU aviation. All they have stored in the hanger is C-FPWB which is a Cesna Citation 505 i think.

He says if they need to ferry the jet over to CYCE Huron Centrailia and she says he wants to allow me to fly with him. I gave him my email and phone number so just in case he wants to fly with me he can.

School os going good so far and there's now only 13 going on 12 weeks left...

The only thing that bugs me about CYXU is that there's no proper place to watch planes come in. You cant spend alot of time on final to RWY 15 because of traffic. But you can spend as long as you want at final to RWY 33 because there's not alot of traffic going on creamery road.

The grass needs to be cut and hasnt been touched in 4 or 5 years. Id love to cut grass there just to make others happy in watching planes...

tooth removed....

I now have 1 of 4 wisdom teeth removed the other day. Pain removed. I now feel much better and have not had as much pain as i had the other day...

other than that i have no problems in life and things are ok...

I had a blast this past weekend at the kithchener waterloo aviation expo. I got to hang out with a few new people i had only met at the last JAM meeting. if you dont know what jam is, heres what it is.

The JET AIRCRAFT MUSEUM (JAM) exists to create and maintain a dynamic and living history of the modern age Royal Canadian Air Force and to provide permanent honour for those valiant Canadian men and women who flew these aircraft with distinction in periods of war, peace, and peace keeping.

JAM is a not for profit foundation that has as its primary purposes the acquisition, display, preservation, maintenance and, most importantly, providing in flight demonstrations for the people of Canada now and for generations to come. The JAM mission is to combine the creation and operation of museum housing: aircraft, historical artifacts, records, and salient memorabilia, while simultaneously keeping representative historic aircraft in the air whenever and wherever major aviation events are held across Canada and at appropriate international centres.
The Museum has been granted charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency.
The model for the establishment of JAM is the immensely successful Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA), which was created in 1986 and has preserved, trained pilots for, and flown and continues to fly this legendary Air force training aircraft at important aviation events in both Canada and the U.S. It is significant that the founder of CHAA and many of its senior volunteer members are among the founding leadership of JAM.

The ultimate objective of the Museum is to have one or more flyable versions of major jet aircraft used by Canada’s armed forces since we entered the military jet age in 1944. These include Canada’s first, the Vampire, the CT-133 T-Bird, CT-114 Tutor and others.
One significant opportunity has already materialized. The acquisition of six T-Bird aircraft have been purchased from the Government of Canada and favourable financing has already been established to facilitate this acquisition. This two seater jet trainer, Canadian built by Canadair in Montreal was the workhorse trainer for Canada’s Armed Forces for some 50 years. JAM anticipates that the T-Bird will be its main in-the-air demonstration aircraft until the Tutors become available in 2012 and/or when circumstances permit acquisition of other aircraft.
Meanwhile, equally important, a suitable home for the T Birds and other aircraft as they are acquired has been established at the London, Ontario International Airport.
Once acquired, the Museum plans ground and aircrew training programs and the establishment of rigorous maintenance, service, safety and operational control procedures.

I hung out with a new friend of mine named Dave Kreutzkamp who is the graphic designer for JAM and can help me im sure with photoshop stuff. As well as being just an aviation buddy i find hes such a nice guy. I find hes doing a good job for JAM as well.

As for me, im in alot of frequent pain this morning, couldnt sleep because my wisdom tooth was acting up and went to the dentist this morning and he said i have an absessed tooth and my right wisdom tooth is about ready for coming out so im sitting here on the computer with an icepack and checking emails and blogging...i have an appointment in woodstock at 1pm to take a look at the abessesed tooth..

FAVE Aircraft!!

For most out there they have their favorite Boeing or airbus aircraft in which they love to see fly or at least fly them virtually. Most like the 757 or 767 because its a long range aircraft that are a lot like what they are as well.

But for me i love only one series of planes is the 737 and as i do like the 700 series plane, one of the early 737-200's is what i like. Even though I've never flown one in real life i have like a few hundred hours flying them virtually for virtual westjet.

Although i don't know what most people say about them i do know that i think that they say its too small i need a bigger plane. But i say its the most beautiful plane in the history of Boeing itself.

If i had like 5 billion extra in my pocket id buy it but all i can do now is dream about owning one, painting it up and putting it in the field. It would be my own Learjet. Whenever i wanted to go somewhere else like Europe i could just hop in my jet and head off. its loud when you take off so id storm all the airports and do flypasts.

In the back of the plane id store my more private plane, a 1966 Dodge Coronet that is just a normal car untill the wings fold out and turns into a private plane i can use to get into remote areas.

I could lock the plane the same way you would remotely lock a car with the 2 beeps. Id have staff that would fly with me to fix the plane whenver it needed fixing.

slept through a virtual flight

Went to bed about 6 hours ago in the middle of a virtual westjet flight and woke up being like 900 miles from where i was supposed to land at CYYC calgary.

So i closed flight sim and now im waiting at the CYXU aiport ready to fly privatelty this morning to maybe calgaty but it probably wont be. Im flying in the eDimensional Boeing 737-200.

i bought a book the other day on amazon about the Boeing 737-200 so it will gice me somnething to read ad i canrt seem to get any further into the harry potter book. This one may last all summer before i get to finish it.

I had a massage on friday in st marys at heal a peel and my stiff legs are now very soft and i can feel it. I might go for one again this week just to soften them up more..

im curios on the name chage of my blog changing it to living in embro or ontario now and may lose the traffic i have already had...i dunno...i want to because im not living in banff anymore and im living in ontario...oh well...

ive had the thought this past week to change the name of my blog to living in ontario now or living in embro now..but i like the name of the blog so much ill keep it as what it is wether its in banff or anywhere else...

re-installed flight sim this week because when i used to load it up there wouild be an error saying something about anchor.bgl (anchorage?) so i was getting frustrated by it and thought it had to go...and copied all the airports and all the planes to my hard drive so when it reinstalls i dont have to lose all those files....

except for the 732.gau acting up its running faster and faster...

Ive had my computer put into the shop in woodstock for the last week or so...and yesterday i got my computer back and am enjoying the new screen i got as well its an 18.5 in monitor, was only really 1.5 in from what i had but takes up less space..

As i write this im flying from Vancouver to Saskatoon in the 737-200 of CP Air (Virtual). Im about 600 nm from saskatoon. Im flying on autopilot which ive been testing myself to be able to operate and get knowing about it. The autopilot back in those days are nopt like those of these days when all you have to do is dial in the altitude to what altitude you want or what heading before you get to that altitutd....no you have to do it manually...of course it will hold when you tell it too theres just no button to hold it and let it get you there without trouble.

I love the 737-200.

Hey everyone hows your day happy canada day to everyone.

I want to ask everyone out there how long you have been on hotmail or had an account..I have been on there for 10 years this september. I cant believe that its been 10 years already...wow...where has the time gone...??

The other issue i want to bring up is a comparison between a regular mastercard or a pre-paid mastercard.

Pre-Paid MC:

I prefer the pre-paid only because there is no dealing with having to pay back all you spent that month. All you have to do is put money on it and it will take a day or two to process (in my case its 3 days).

Regular MC: Its fun that you can have money on the go, but wouldnt you rather have to not pay the monthly payback thing every month? I have never had a normal mastercard so i have no idea what its like but i hear its ok to have to pay back everything you have bought. Wouldnt you like having the peace of mind to have the ability to load your card with money instead of having money on it?

If you like the pre paid mastercard idea go to nextwavetitanium.com and chack it out...its only 20 dollars and very handy. the only problem i find is that it takes 3 days to transfer any amount of money from any financial institution..

its like a merging of usernames..

when i started becomimg more of having a presence of being on the internet i used a swell number of usernames/aliases i used. At the time about 2003 i had so many that i wasnt sure what i would do with all of them...most were on yahoo and the one that stuck out in my mind was ford8nguy. It was one i used on all ford 8n websites that i was using like nseries.com and a few others.

After my interest in ford 8ns died out (still love them) but another type of interest caught my eye. It was muscle cars. I always loved muscle cars since i was about 13 or 14 and really didnt have a favorite untill i saw a pic and the sound of the engine online.  It was the most beautiful car ive ever seen in my life..bigger than any of the other muscle cars. It was the 1966 Dodge Charger. So since i was only a fan of the 66, it was obvious the name 66chargerfan was a good username that i could come up with. in fact alot of things i was doing online was using 66chargerfan for any forum or website. 

in about that time i was learning how to play guitar and so i created a username i only used for a few sites called acousticsoul. it didnt last long...i only used it for about 9 months then i got rid of it but if you search acousticsoul "darren elliott" youll find that there are a few old websites that i havent visited since 03 or 04. Then....

Then i really didnt have one for my guitar very much until i thought about how my old idol at the time had an old nickname where he added the word vox which i believe is a word meaning voice. And so i have not the best voice in the world i decided to use my name and add vox to it hence darrenvox was born. This is one i use for everything and will be my primary username for anything and everything and i will eventually get rid of 66chargerfan and acousticsoul by asking if admins of forums can change my username to darrenvox and so far a few have and that is my project for the next few weeks....

An Update On Things

that took all of what...5 minutes?

Hello blogging world. I just thought id update my website because i thought it would be a good time to do something with it.

While i was doing some afternoon lawn cutting i thought maybe tomorrow sometime i would take screenshots of the social media websites i am on (ie facebook myspace etc). Then i would crop them to make thumbnails. I figured while i was cutting that it would take me like an hour or so. But i loaded up safari and found the best view of all the social sites i have and took a screenshot with the program i use with flightsim called snapper (ovosoft.com/snapper). I then loaded up photoshop 6.0 and instead of cropping them i reduced the size from 80x600 to 100x75. Then i uploaded all of the pictures to my tripod account and put them with links to their pages on my contact page.

The contact page that i had alread had, was a form, my email, and links to my blog and forum. Now they are thumbnails that you can click on instead of some link. I have a few more to do as in the forum and dailybooth and all that....

CTNotify.exe Problem on startup

It hasnt affected me much in the last few months but just recently i thought id get the disk detetor working on my machine again. And then recently i loaded up my computer the other day and it gave me a error message something about kernel32.dll so i searched the computer for it and then didnt seem to see it and then searched the web and downloaded it to replace the file but now its not working so well and the error comes up every time i load my windows xp computer.

Its not a big deal im just trying to get things back to the way they were years ago so when i do sell it and it probably wont happed in the next 20 years cause im attached to this computer but if i do sell it i want it back kinda the way i got it. The disc detector was working when i first got this computer on bursary at college.

hi guys feeling much happier now and moving on with my life i havent got the time anymore to sit around to wait. I havent really started finding anyone yet because i just dont know, im a loser and got nothing to do anymore but play driver paralell lines on the wii.

no one has asked on youtube or on here what my 

webcam looks like and not too many really care but for those who have wondered what im using for my videos and they are pretty good videos (quality wise) it is actually better than my dads 40 dollar webcam which is alot of static...mine has alot of static  but im ok with it. I bought it for 15 bucks at a surplus store in london ontario...ZSMC 211 is the model number...probably 10-15 years old because zsmc doesnt exist anymore.

I pulled an all nighter last night and most of the night to early dawn i watched a made-for-tv- movie called "monster island". Even though most of the monsters were obviously fake the love story was brilliant. Id give this movie about a 3/10 for the horror it gave me which is zero. 12/10 for the kinda good love story.

Its 3:33am on friday may 22. Ill probably be sleeping all day.....which is like the kiss song i want rock and roll all night and sleep everyday.

If you can believe me i have never had windows office higher than 2000 on my computer.  I barely ever use it but when i do its just hard to use. I might take my computer in and get it tuned up and put some ram or rom in it. 

about the IE thing i find IE slow loading and too much toolbars and stuff. safari has all i need and keeps it clean. I also like firefox but cant get the youtube (upgrade-to-the-next-flash-player) problem fixed...so im sticking with safari...whatever happened to netscape...i remember using it in high school and havent heard much of it since.

i havent done a blog like this in ages and its a good way to get it off my chest.  I used to blog only like this but now i dont because i have other things to do than sleep..speaking of sleep good night!!

i found my dads old Minlota XG1 and cant wait to see if it still works...

So april 14th at 8 has come and gone and I no longer am in love or do not want to think about her im on to bigger and better things...I had removed her a while ago from facebook and then after 8pm on april 14 I removed all of our mutual friends (all the friends I know and she knows)...so I wont want to hear about her anymore.

hi ppl, its darren here doing an email blog. Ive given up its been too long and its now down to the nitty gritty. Ive been waiting 4-5 months for a reply from "you know who" not erica I can tell you. Im giving her 1 more week to reply to the email I sent her in december. If she doesn't reply im moving on with my life after 8pm on tuesday april 14th.

 

Ill go right into finding someone on eharmony or plentyoffish or something to try to find someone. Mybe finding a girl is just not the thing for me...well maybe if I don't im moving on in life after that date...

ive been looking into joining the CP Air Virtual airline and noticed there used to be a flight with a 737-200 from CYOW to CYUL which is weird to me the 737-200 has an aproximate range of like 25-3200 miles yet it would fly a flight of less than 100 miles...why....seems strange by todays standards...but I guess in the days of flying in the golden era it would have been ok but not today you would fly from ottawa to montreal in a dash 8 but not in a 737-200 though I found a video on youtube that shows a cockpit of a 737-200 on the way from PANC to PASC which I think is in alaska.

years later i cant remember the names of artists..

Back about 2003-ish. I used to watch this show called ZED on CBC every week or every night i cant remember which because its slipping out of my mind. I should have written down all the videos that i liked years ago because im gonna have to look at all the videos to find the ones i remeber quite well. "More" was a video that i really liked, good thing for youtube its on there!!

They didnt just get rid of zed they got rid of my way of seeing other artists in canada shine....and the other problem is because of copyrights after they play a video uploaded to ZED online on tv its unviewable, so someday ill find a few zed vids on youtube.

won an award last night...

Last night i won the cobble hills instructors assistant award for being helpful for the team. i knew i was gong to get a recogniion like a talking about with akll the staff and everyone clapping for all the hard work ive done but to my amazement i won an award.

I have heard from rayza and andrew in the past week its good to hear from them but i havent heard from that girl i wont metion her name but i havent heard from her. ive been waiting at least 4 months to hear from her.

my cold is gone, my flu video is not accurate anymore, i will do a video later tomorrow talking about the award and other stuff.

So im doing more flights theses days like today i flew london to calgary at 7am this morning, got up went to the washroom at around 6 and couldnt stay sleeping so i got up and get ready to fly to calgary and i should have done it IFR because calgary was IFR at the time i tried to land...i was VFR.

I took a guitar lesson in embro tonite and learned a few new chords. learned how to make chords out of notes. Really nice guy really helped me with it, im going back on wednesday night again.

Thursday is back to the drawing board with another 100+ kids coming to cobble hills...it looks to me like we only have a few more days of skiing. Our funday was supposed to be march 7th but now its march 14 if we still have any snow at cobble.

Its been raining quite alot here so if we make it to next week we're lucky...i doubt theres much left this time of year. Looks like its time to go to banff for the rest of the season...haha...would be nice for at least a week or 2. Take "uncle doug" with us for another year.

2 weird things and end of season

so today i dont have many lessons and i guess by this time every year its normally only privates, and semi privates and isnce im a ski instructor helper not an instructor. So im only needed when there is more than 4 people and they need help...most of this season i have been doing the 5 week camps. They ended about the 1st week in february. Since then its been only the school groups.

So today one behind the other two very odd and very rare things happened i think i was possesed by bad luck. 1st of all my glove gets stuck on the j bar and makes it around the wheel at the top then drops in a grassy area. So i skied to the bottom and told the liftee who was sitting in a tube watching the sun go down, and told him that my glove made it around the wheel at the top and fell into an area no one should ever visit if its moving. He stopped the jbar and i cmimbed of a catch cable that if someone goes through it will stop....went over and grabbed my glove no rips or tears (though there was alreay alot of cuts from grapping the wire without the bar and jletting in run through the glove....i should have found a glove protector we used to have for riope tows. Anyways 20 mins later im taking down the characters (piglet, tigger etc) woooden characters to ski around and theres a stubborn stubby that i cant get out so i go in and grab a metal key thats helps get it out...neither one works so i tried digging with the handle on the key and it still wouldnt come out, so i went to the liftee and found a shovel and as soon as i got 1/2 way to the stubby tyler the local snowboard instructor goes by (while i was digging he noticed what i was trying to do...turned it like counter clockwise and lifted and came out....took me 20 minutes for him to take it out in like 30 seconds...unreal eh!!!

so im over there tomnorrow monday and maybe tuesday and who knows what our school group schedule will be like i know theres only like 4 or 5 school groups left..most of them are ones that cancelled when the weather was like -20 or like just after it rained...so theres not much left.

Im just curious to see who won..i dont think any of my friends entered so its all from the US or from the UK somewhere.

i was driving myself to cobble hills and the thought hit me like a wall...when i took a year or two off after school and got my drivers liscence i should have taken a week and gone somewhere fun by myself or with friends....would have been cool experience,...

hi guys whoever is readin this blog right now...I want to post this feeling or thought to anyone out there to see what everyone thinks. I've been having 2 typical dreams sometimes like one after the other. Sometimes when im sleeping ill dream of pleasurable and happy thoughts of someone I know that I've been talking about on here then its followed by ones of people trying to kill me..

 

I like the ones of the star bucks girl I don't like the death dreams. If it was 2003 and I was dreaming about death it would be second nature to think of death, now I've got something to live for. Like last night I had a dream of me being shot at but the bullets wouldn't hit me they were like bouncing off me.

weird dream this am.....

this morning I awoke from an unusually happy dream one that could have kept going if I didn't have to be up for 10 am this morning. It involved a few of my old worker mates from Safeway all talking about this snowboard shop they were all going to a lot or one they wanted to start.

 

I found that one to be cool because I was seeing all my friends from Banff again..

scanner works!!

so hello its monday jan 26th of 2009. My scanner has been sitting in the TV room catching dust for about a month, or since i changed my room around for my computer to be in the south corner of my room. I decided it would be nice to see what i could salvage from my scanner if it works or not. Up to now the scanner part works fully so it still works its just the linkup between it and the computer. So i setup the programs for it and tried pushing the green button (epson 1260 perfection) and nothing worked then i went into control panel and hit add hardware...after a minute there was the popup that the 1260 was intalled. So it works!!...

it might not be the two weeks i indicated on the last blog but ive given up. I cant wait anymore without her talking to me. I havent talked with her in like 3 months. I miss her like sh*t. Heck im almost in love with her. I dont want to become depressed like i did years ago.

Funny thing is that ive had sme good dreams about her and i was almost certain some of them were going to come true, guess not now..

from now on i wont be talking about the starbucks girl ill have to find someone else. Its going to be hard...may take a year to get over her i was so deep in feelings for her. I hear her voice sometimes its so awesome to hear from her in my head but its not the real girl.

last fm and other things

Hello bloggers, how are you? Another day another dollar...Today is Friday the 16th of January/2009.

 

We were supposed to start the school groups at cobble today but since it was going to be and it already might be -20 right now the 1st group cancelled so im on my own for the day, here to Blog, Vlog or chat.

 

I now have a last.fm, used to be I really didn't conceive the concept. Now its something I don't even think about much. Crazy how much its changed, its like bagels years ago...no one liked bagels but the select few now everyone has it for breakfast and doesn't even notice how much they are loved now. My username on last.fm is darrenvox.

 

I have not played Combat Arms, Trackmania or WOW for the reasons its too big for my computer!!!

 

I am on blogtv.com with the same username. I don't really have a show set up I just go on every once and a while to show people a live view of my room~!

cant stop thinking about her...its been too long

so this week is another week im giving the girl from starbucks to chat back at me. if she doesnt let me know her feelings so i can chance it or stop thinking about her. Most people at this stage would give up and move on. i think this starbucks/UNLTD girl is quite a rariety so ill give her the benefit of the doubt and and an extra week to chat back at me. She doesnt have to tell me her inner most deep secrets she just has to tell me wether she likes me or not. if she likes me ill defintely pursue a relationship with her, if she doesnt like me ill let her go. Its too hard at this moment.


I really like her and would really like to go out with her at some point. Shes got a boyfreind and im ok with that its the fact that i see her being part of my life more than i see her with her current boyfriend. Everytime i see snowboarders i think of her. So im goung to get lessons on how to snowboard so if i were ever to be her boyfreind at some point she would probably want me to be converted so i will have to take lessons at some point. Tyler or Tanner said they would take me out and teach me...i know im gonna be on my ass anyways...so....well see

Unless im helping teaching over at cobble hills most of my thoughts are going to her at the moment, i cant help myself thinking about the starbucks girl (i have yet to mention names untill im going out wither her) which may never happen....but id like to at least try...so ill giver her another week, i just dont want to have another broken heart knowing that she only thinks im a garbage guy and not a future boyfriend..

I might be going to banff in march or so...a little trip to go see friends and see people...

its getting harder and harder...

Late last night i was over at cobble hills hanging out having a good time and then the song made famous by katy perry came on called hot n cold and since when i first heard the song a long time ago when i was living in banff i thought katy perry looked like this girl i still like from starbucks. So whenever i hear that song it makes me think alot abot her.

I have talked to her a million times over the past year it was ony after she came back from being home in ontario that our happy fun friendship started dwindling downwards, we went from being enjoyfull of each other (hi-5's and smiles to each other) to barely talking to each other at all. It really makes me mad at myself because i probably did or said something that made her not talk to me as much.

I know she has a boyfriend and im respectfull of that but im so happy that someday me and her wll be together. Maybe we wont but ivew got this good feeling in my heart that i will see her again. I havent seen her since the begining of november and its now the start of january...its hard for me.

Alls im saying is its hard because ive sent her an email telling her how i feel and i havent heard back. At this point most people would give up and move on. Im just being ok with it and letteing her have another 2 weeks to email or chat with me and let me know...i like her...i liker her alot...i just dont want to lose her...

Hello all bloggers out there that are reading my blog at all, merry xmas to you and your family and to everyone in general to have a merry xmas and a happy new year.

 

 I just completed my level 1 Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance training and failed from not teaching it correctly. I knew I wasn't going to get it anyways but at least I made it through the 4 days. I met a few new people this week and I'm glad for meeting a bunch keen on learning. I did well on the skiing part of it, yet failed more on the teaching aspect of it. 

 

I have not written any new songs yet but I have written a few new poems and have transcribed the song lyrics from my book into .txt form. That was done so that I always have a second copy and can print one off at any time.

 

U2 still stinks, Theory Of A Deadman still rocks!!

is this a gay idea or what? plus update on things

I recently lost my cell phone, and I was thinking it would be cool for the phone makers and phone service providers could allow phones to have a tracking system so that at all times you would know where your phone is. It sounds to me like this could help a lot of frustrated phone owners that cant even get the call to get their phone (like me) through because the battery is dead so even if I could call it, it would do nothing to benefit anyone.

 

So I'm home now, loving every minute of it, lots of work to do, with six horses 4 cats and a dog to take care of, there's no time to slack off, or there's not a lot of time to do nothing. I will be working somewhere in southwest Ontario, possibly cobble hills, but I'm not sure I want to work there, I'm going to have to work at somewhere else, like St Marys or Stratford, London or Kitchener.

So im here in ontario for a few months, cant play BF2 but i can play BF42 whenever i want, ive been signed up for the level 1 ski teaching course, though if i pass i may not use it at all it will just be there just in case.

Ive already been set up to work at cobble, though id rather start my own company because i havent learned from my previous job yet.

so im unemployed right now ill see what happens

Coming Home

Im moving home for a few months starting at the end of this month, ill be coming back to this town in april/may or so.

Not sure where im going to be working at but for the 1st little while theres a chance i could be working for dad with all of his stuff data entry for BNI.

It will be nice come home be rent free for a month or so. i have a ton of things ive gotta do when i go home i have to burn cds of photos from my computer and all the other stuff and then change some stuff on that computer then i have to either sell some old games for money so i can get rid of the games and cds lyring around my room so that im more organized then i can feel good being around my home in ontario

but 1st i must focus on having a fun time before i go!!

VHS-C to DVD

Im looking forward to the day i can finish or even start my quest on taking our old home videos and converting them to DVD, which would be cool in the fact we could give away our old videos to the people that were in them because im sure most of whats on our VHS-C have been forgotten and it would be a nice thing to do.

is some future shop or source cc guy doing it becuae i actualy want to do some ediits on a copy of the master ill do and i might like to have a menu screen and some edited footage that could be the bonus features then ad an easter egg to it


date it may get done? 2012 because i dont know if i can do any of it out here and the usb to pc thing is expensive...i want it to be a work of art..i want to do it myself and i dont know where to go...i will start this if i move back to ontario in november.

end of september blog

So it is the end of september, thus the end of the summer. Working hard but only half the hours, i work three days then have 4 days off. its not good for the paycheck but its gives me time to relax.

Im not reading anymore at least that good book called "what good people know" by dan baker it was very fun reading and learning how other people dealed wirh the same pain i was in. It didnt mean you had to stress youreself out to be happy just notice the day to day things that make you feel good.

Paid rent already, had to borrow some money from my mother i hate to do that but im running empty on money.Thanks mom!

Watched a family of deer or bull elk today waddle into the river by the trail that leads to the falls on the ymca side of the river. I sat on a bench and stared at them, wondered what they were saying to each other.

Leveled up on combat arms, im now a seargent not a corporal anymore and now ive reached a level where aiming at other players is getting much better ive gotten to the 20 kill level normally i get to 5 or 6 kills a session!

I joined a clan on Combat Arms its called red eyed platoon. its a pretty good platoon cause its all about not having cheaters hackers and glitches in the game. I can name a clan who all they want is to get more exp so they can move up rank. why do people cheat?

I am so addicted to combat arms right now its ruling my life so much right now. All i do at the internet cafe is play combat arms for at least 3 hours or so. Its so much fun and ive met so many new people with it. One of my favorite players is Itoke, he is so good i think hes a SSG or might be higher rank than what i thought. Me and another new friend Samerica and a few other Red Eye Platoon people were playing on warhead with another clan but it wasnt any fun cause they were cheating.

if i had better guitar playing id stick at it..

So im blogging again, yes. Has been a while since ive blogged. I saw dave's video the other day the one about miniman, written in his english class in elementary school. This inspired me to do the same thing because i have old stories that i have written and want to share..only trouble is im in banff now and all my stuff from public school are in ontario so if i go back to ontario or get my mom to bring it out now i will post it to my youtube./darrenvox page.

Im listening to dave from blue skies' alone again on guitar from youstage in manchester. What a cool song written for piano and played by guitar. I really like that song, my other fav song is stickaid2008, oh i forgot to mention im on stickam as meaning i have an account there..i cant seem to access my account right now but i could do live shows and stuff on there.

My songwriting career is done, theres no more writing so all i can do now is support acts like dave from blue skies and davey milby.If i had a good guitar player to join me i could still sing but not write.

Im still planning my trip to england to see some of my friends and meet some of my online friends. I have some living in scotland and some living in wales and a few living in england so ive got to plan my trip accordingly. I was origionally going to do ireland, england and scotland. but now i dont want to go to ireland because i dont like the band u2 anymore and 95% of that trip part would have been about u2. so im skipping ireland to visit wales, cause people are telling me its a nice place.

if only i could get all my overseas friends to meet up at a certain city, such as bristol and i could see my buddies, meet the online ones and introduce everyone to each other, i could try saying its a bristol youtube gathering but i bet theres not alot of youtubers in bristol that we all know..my brother is in bristol living there working at the digital visitor thing.

Ive never posted anything about what i now know how my old self would be an old version of me, so the one who couldnt wake up for work on time would be the 1.5 of me.

The 1.5 listened to u2, couldnt live without a certain girl whos name i must not mention, lets say voldemort its kinda like that and couldnt stop being mad at bees. The 1.5 dreamed of the world ending because he feels no one love him, no really love him like other people. The 1.5 always was sad. The 1.5 had issues with life and everything bothered him. 1.5 lost hope of meeting bono, and voldemort aka the girl i must never mention. The 1.5 of me wouldnt think of having breakfast because i was normally out the door 5 minutes to or maybe 10 minutes or so after 11am. The 1.5 had a resume done by his sister because he didnt understand how it was to be done. Never added his own things to it. The 1.5 always said he was from st marys ontario, but never lived there. The 1.5 loved to dance and thoubght his dancing was good. The 1.5 had a lot of bad bikes that wouldnt get close to anything to what 2.0 has now and 2.0 isnt as good as any kona, or any bike anyone around banff has. Both 1.5 and 2.0 cant bike, on his minelli, but likes to bike around town and cant even get over a curb has to get off and walk the bike and then get on again but knows its not going to hurt him. compared to all the other better bikers in town 1.5 and 2.0 sucks and doesnt know the right way to switch gears correctly years to make it to Tour de France: 1,000000 years.
1.5 and 2.0 are both suckers at biking. Pretty much 2.0 is just a person upgrade he still sucks at everything.


The 2.0 update allows for more time to get up and have breakfast which is good for me. Now im leaving by 1045am and getting there in enough time to think about what ive got to do for a while.The 2.0 listens to pretty much everything like bright eyes, coldplay, collective soul. The 2.0 actually started in 2005 because everything i was used to fell away. The 2.0 is now always happy. The 2.0 has fixed all of his prior problems. The resume 2.0 is working on is his own work, adding the other things that maybe we lied about.The 2.0 is from a place he always dreamed about it, and the girl from the past wants to kick him out.The 2.0 doesnt like dancing.2.0 loves his bike but knows that all he is known it as a canadian tire special or something like that.

what happened the other night and update

 
Hello everyone who has ever been reading my blog, like as if anyone is.A weird thing happened on friday/ saturday and 12:10 am or so. i was hanging out at the internet cafe. and all of a sudden the lights just flickered on and off for a second and i thought that maybe the fuse box  was acting up or something then i walked  upstairs to check out if it was just the internet cafe or if it was the  whole town and im sure my first idea as i looked on was total shock, the whole town was out of power, from the entrance way into banff to the bridge was about as dark as the night was. So i thought about leaving but i thought it would be nice if i walked out of here together so i waited for him to finish up.
 
I walked to my sisters house not my home in the fricken dark, not any lights on, so it was weird, i've never seen banff like that.
 
My life, yes i thought id get to this, my singer songwriter thing is going nowhere. So is my normal life, i know people have said "she's not here." sheesh, did i start rubbing my head for nothing, its because  i keep seeing the past in brief moments in my head, you know how someone says try seeing things in a mental picture that what i'm seeing, but don't get me wrong i don't want her. I came here to move on with my life. And i was having the best time being here. 2005 was the best year too, sally borden every other day, walk through the rain, and sit by the river and reflect,  but now i feel like i don't belong here any more.
 
she showed up in banff sometime in 2006 because before all this i felt fine and over the stuff i took a long time to get over. Then the bono stuff started, i started hearing bono's  voice in my head. I fell for everything he was telling me, and i don't believe he would ever come to such a crappy town like this. The last time i was in hospital in i was going crazy, i knew he wasn't here in my heart but i thought he was, I must have been on crack or something i had conjured up a theory about the end of the world, i must have had a bad dream one of the nights because i saw my sister sitting beside me and i'm like i cant fucking believe it i thought everyone was dead, clearly i must have been on crack or something.
 
This thing about the hating bono or the facebook group called i still hate bono and his fucking face" its not meant to mean we want to kill him, its just a bunch of previous u2 fans turning the table. I came up with this idea that u2 or rock bands should have a draft like the NHL, so that any musicians that need bono for their band, like rolling stones  so that when mick jagger dies bono can fill in. I think it would work perfectly. This problem i have is not a u2 problem its a bono probrem. get rid of him any way other than killing and you recieve a bonus. its a good way anyways.
 
I love how at every show he was at, during sometimes you cant make it on your own during the vertigo tour, hed say "this is for my father bob" well i could one up him and say "well this is the my why bother? fob" the only problem is id have to find a key chain fob that says in big letters "why bother" on it. haha bono youre going down.!!

on life love and the other stuff

something i havent talked about in ages because i didnt believe in love, i thought i was never going to be in love/married etc. but now i have met a few people and had a few crushes. I dont want to talk about it much but i like this girl who works at safeway. Word has gone around that i really like her. Now im not gonna start blogging about her but it needs to end. I mean what i keep doing metaphorically is closing doors on people for some reason. i mean ive had chances in the past.with that girl from high school, waited untill the last minute to make my move to be shot down again and again.

Now i know that this thing with the ... doesnt really matter, i really like her, we talk alot i compliment her and she does too but i feel like i started off on the wrong foot. Id like to still be her friend period. I also like other girls at safeway but im not shy too much these days but around women i get shy and i feel as if i have to get to know them to talk to them.

i have to stop closing doors on people, but i cant stop doing it..

im going to have to figure out what i really want. this is something i can only decide.

Every photo tells a story, some more than others

i recently took a look back at my photos on facebook just to pass the time and one photo album i had almost forgotten about called bow river overflow. Back last june or july our town of nearly 8000 + or so people had something weird but yet beautiful at the same time. The majestic bow river that flows through banff and calgary and on to hudson bay overflowed. It didnt claim any lives but it kept people far from the river..

This photo just amazes me, what big a river we now have and whats the effects of the flooding that happened whatif i wwas playing guitar down by the river and accidentally got pushed off the bench because fot the strong current after this happened. I was just shocked to see this happen, its not every day that people see this sort of thing happen in their lives..





This photo just scares me, what if, when this happened someone like me was on it and got washed away...its not the bench that speaks to me its how high and fast the might bow is. I mena look at it its almost at seat height. It is dangersous but would have sounded cool to think about just sitting there with the fast water flowing over your legs....youd really have to hold on..






the others i took arent so as impressive as these are...but ill upload them anyways...maybe you can give me a comment as to what you think the others make you feel or see or whatever..or you could take them and photochop them and do things with them.

thats a river worth rafting down, if it werent so dangerous it would be fun...be something instead of taking pictures to experience the bow falls..

again take your time and think of what you think of when looking at these pics...this photo was used to prove how fast and how strong the river was...i recorded a video of how fast it was moving..NEXT

recurring attack dreams

hello people, like 2 people that read this, here i am going to talk about a common theme here about attack dreams ive had before.

this morning i woke up with a resounding dark deep feeling ponder whats the next animal or insect im going to be attacked by in a dream. currently here are the animals ive been attacked by in dreams, get prepared to laugh

bears (4+ times)
sharks (1)
cougars(2 to 3 times)
bees(500+ times)
whales(1 time)
belugas(1 time)
dolphins(1 time) (i find this quite funny cause dolphins are harmless)
piranhas(here and there)

heres the problem i facing..
 
i moved here 2 and a half years ago, to turn over a new leaf, it takes you know who 30 seconds to make my life miserable, i felt like my lifes dignity i was working to get back was stolen within 15 minutes of me being here 2 abd 1/2 years latet i hate my life but i cant just sit back and let time go by..
 
to sum up what ive been talking about here im the america after 911 if i sit back and watch my life will crumble before me she is the terrorism im the rest of the world, im trying to get back to town and enjoy what i used to do..

On songwriting...

well im getting back at writing songs right now, well at least this week, it seems that lately that i have had a number of songs worked on but never finished..it seemed my love life was still in the traffic pattern (aviaton term) so im still working on getting a girl to hang out with...
 
 
now that i am going to have my own bach pad i think its a great place to live and help with my songwriting...
 
i want to buy one of those portable mp3 reorder like the edirol r-09 or the m-audio multitrack...
 
id like to have it also for when i go to europe in april..
